Rockleigh Court Surgery is introducing a new way of booking GP appointments.
All patients who need a GP appointment are now asked to complete an online form using a tool called AccuRx. The form can be found on the homepage of our website. Once submitted, your request will be reviewed by a clinician who will triage it and advise you of the next steps. This may result in:
-
An appointment on the same day, or
-
An appointment within a couple of days, weeks depending on clinical need.
We kindly ask for your patience as this new system is rolled out.
If you are unable to complete the online form, our reception team will be happy to assist you either over the phone or in person at the surgery.
Thank you for your cooperation and support as we work to improve access to care.

Appointment reminders
While we do offer appointment reminders as a courtesy, these should not be solely relied upon. It is the patient's responsibility to make a personal note of their appointment date and time at the time of booking. Failure to receive a reminder does not excuse missed appointments.
New Appointment Request Process
From now on, all appointment requests must be submitted via the AccuRx online form. Once submitted, your request will be triaged by a clinician, and you will be contacted by phone or message with the next steps.
Please note: You will no longer be able to book an appointment by calling the surgery directly and requesting one.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to improve access and care for all our patients.
Telephone Advice
There are often times when a little advice from the doctor or nurse about a health problem or medication is all that is needed. Please telephone either before or at the end of surgery times for this information.
Home Visits
Home visits are only for those who are too ill or infirm to come to the surgery. The doctor can see several patients in surgery in the time that it takes to make one home visit and they have better equipment and facilities at the surgery to examine you and treat your problem. Transport problems are not an acceptable reason for requesting a home visit. Requests for home visits should be made before 12.00pm to give the doctors time to plan their day and ensure the visits can be made.
